Just wanted to quickly mention that my article “Modern art using the GPU” article for SDJ was published earlier this year. The article is based on my previous tutorials for XNA 3.1.
As the article is based on XNA 3.1, it’s a bit out of date. My current tutorial series covering Shader programming for XNA 4.0 will cover most of the differences, but all examples, code, shaders and text is rewritten for the new version.
If you are interested to read this it’s available on http://en.sdjournal.org/modern-art-using-the-gpu-learn-about-xna-sdj-extra-022011/, but I think you need to be a registered member.
Still, nice to see, and I like the cover
Looking forward to work more with my new series. You can find the first three parts in the tutorial section.
Cheers!
